Hvordan vil gruppen gribe projektet an:

Gruppen mødes minimum en gang om ugen (fredag) for at give hinanden feedback, lave aftaler, planlægge, hjælpe hinanden, udnytte hinandens kompetencer.

We started by brainstorming about our daily problems and irritations. The following is what we wrote (in Danish – to mention some: Cold pizza, winds, morning hair, sweat, red traffic-lights.

Afterwards we used post-its to write comments. The ideas which did not receive positive comments were then removed, and then the group debated which of the remaining ideas we should use.

The problem we decided to use was: “Morning hair”, so we began thinking about how we would solve this problem.

Here is what we came up with:

Hair-Preserver-T1000x

A huge box that protects your hair when you sleep (If you are able to sleep with a big box on your head that is) – It is really a very silly product, but that was pretty much what the exercise was about.

For presenting it, we used a powerpoint.

PPtilChindogu

Because of some trouble with the “Pages” in WordPress we have decided to use Categories to index the blog instead. We got support from some people from other groups. The page has been reset with the same design but new organization enabling us to post within the indexing.

The group agreed to fill out the “About Me” site using a template, so the descriptions would be more like each other.

HP begins writing a storyboard for the “structure-video” that we will finish later today

The group decide that the language used in the blog will be english

We discuss and sketch the structure/design of the blog

We agree about the structure and rules of the blog. There is a wide agreement about this

The group evaluate the blog using Ciceros pentagram.

We have brainstormed alot and decided to use a file-structure on a network-drive which will contain the files “Notes”, “Project log”, “Work sheets” and later on “Project Portfolio” and “Process description”

We continue to discuss the rules of the group.

Ambitions – We all agree that it would suck if the group-blog is cooler than your personal one.

Skills (An overview of the skills of the group members)

Christian: An all-round guy, with a logical approach to various problems. Not really any graphical or programming skills.

Camilla: A wizard at Photoshop and knows a little flash. Is an educated Multimedia Designer and have worked with WordPress before – Have attended a drawing-class without really requirering any drawing skills at all

Peter: Also a wizard at Photoshop, but not very creative. Thinks of himself as a leader-type. Knows a little bit og programming, but have absolutely no experience in WordPress

HP: Kind of a “all-round guy” too. Is good at drawing and has a good overview of things even in stressed situations.

Time-schedule (How stressed the members everyday life is)

Christian: Is free to do work every single do, do not have a side-job.

Pernille: Does not have a side-job either, but has a girlfriend in Jutland (the western part om Denmark), that she would like to see from time to time.

Camilla: Have a side-job, but it’s very flexible

Peter: Also have a flexible side-job + a girlfriend in Jutland

HP: Have to plan ahead. Have a child and a girlfriend, but a flexible job.

Camilla draws the structure into Photoshop, so we can put it online

The group agrees to do some homework and find interesting links and blogs that we like so we can use them for reference later

Before ITU: I graduated high school in 2005. Since then i’ve  worked at two different kindergardens. One with mainly palestinians and the other with only jews.

Why ITU? I wanted a modern and relevant education, hopefully without too much heavy theory.

Before ITU: I have recently graduated from a high school called Copenhagen Technical Academy. Actually I wasn’t even supposed to be able to enter the school because danish law requires you to have a third language (Danish + English + Whatever..) to enter. I only had two, but my teachers and counselors in the 10. grade I was in were able to convince several “important people” of my talents for “Technical stuff”. I was given the option, and I went for it.

Why ITU? When I was finishing high school and my guidance counselor asked me what I wanted to do afterwards I didn’t really know. My grades were almost perfect, so I could choose whatever I wanted. Yet, I had a hard time finding an education that I knew that I would be able to commit to for 3-5 years. When I saw the Bachelor in Digital Media & Design I thought it sounded exciting and gave it a try. It combines my interest for medias and design in a not too theoretical and not too practical way.
